It is hard to believe that this Friday marks the 20th Anniversary to when the Camdens made their television debut. It honestly is a little too much for me. Being that I am me, this made me all nostaligic so I went digging and found some of my favorite moments with some of my most favorite people. It is pretty hard to explain what these people mean to me, they were more than my coworkers, they were more than my friends, they truly became my family and no matter how much time passes or how long we go before seeing one another, one thing is certain, the bond that we share and the love that we have is always there. 20 years ago I went from being an only child to having true brothers and sisters and I couldn’t be more grateful. These pics are my cherished memories from when we shot the pilot! Barry, where do I even start? Both Jess and I MAY have had a little crush on Barry in the beginning, ok so we did, but that didn’t last that long because soon we began to see Barry as an older brother and that just made it weird. But if you ask him, he is still convinced we have crushes one him! 🙂 Barry was the greatest big bro you could ask for, you could always go to him for antyhing though his advice was not always serious, the one that you always knew was Barry had our backs. He still does and I love him to death!
Jess and I got along from the start, we truly were the best of friends. I mean THANK GOD for this girl, we have truly gone through it all and I couldn’t have picked a better partner to have had this adventure with . We didn’t always see eye to eye and sometimes we may have wanted to kill each other but no one has taught me more than this girl. She has loved me through the best and worst of times and has always been there when I needed her. 20 years ago I was given a sister and I couldn’t have asked for a better one! I love you Jess.
Mack was such a baby, look at that sweet face. We truly watched her grow up! Mack is our wild child, she always keeps us guessing and loves to shock us. Thank you Mack for alwyas keeping me on my toes! Love you girl!
David was a pro from the start, I loved watching him work and I have always had a special connection from the very beginning. David is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know. A ridiculously talented actor but an even better human. I love you David.
Sorry about the flowers, the picture actually came from my scrapbook. Yes, I was that cheesy girl, still am! Stay tuned this week, I am feeling a little sentimental so I might have mroe special memories to share as well as never before seen pics from our time on 7Th Heaven!

I was 21 when the show premiered, so I didn’t catch it from the beginning. However, once I found it I loved it! I love to watch the reruns today! Hoping for the day one of my kids will watch with me! I love how the storylines are universal and can apply today. As I enter the teen years with a son I think I shall watch some episodes with Annie, Matt and Simon for some insight!!

It’s hard to believe 7th Heaven is 20!!! I’ve loved this show for as long as I can remember, and now that I’m the mom of four littles, I’m enjoying sharing the love, especially with my six year old daughter! She loves the show and it gives us a lot to talk about as far as life lessons, but also gives us something to enjoy! Thank you, Bev, for being part of one of my favorite memories, and now, one of my daughters! Your children are blessed to have such a caring soul as their mother. You’re doing a great job with them!

Love the show, my family was never religious. But loved that it showed morals ,lessons and humor. I have autographed pictures of almost the whole cast. My daughter is 6 now and we watch the show together. Funny I called it my way of going to church watching the show . Someone actually stole the picture of Beverly Michell from me. . We need a reunion show .

Beverley,
Loved reading this! You’ve been my favorite on 7th Heaven from the beginning cause I could relate to you most! My family actually called me Lucy since I was the last to know things…then God brought a best friend into my life named Lucy. The two of us would watch 7th Heaven then have lengthy discussions on the episode and what occurred. These conversations continued even after she moved 16 hours away!
{Also, my 6th grade teacher loved the show too so she and I would discuss it every Tuesday at school! Haha}
Can’t believe it’s been 20 years! Love the show and how you all are still close!
I’m a scrapbooker myself so I LOVE this!! So cool! Thanks for sharing!!
