I could not be more grateful that I have had to opportunity to be at home with my babies and rarely miss a moment in their lives. I still however, can not get over how fast they grow up, Kenzie is three and though Hutton is only 1 (1.5 to be exact) he has begun to say he is 2! Please don’t grow up too fast my sweet babies. I feel like somehow I’m in a time warp and time is going by unusually fast. And as September fast approaches and I have to go back to work, I soak in every moment I have. It is going to be hard to be away from them but I know they are in good hands with my amazing husband. I know this is good for our family but I do have to say I have gotten used to being a stay at home Mom and I love it. Lucky for me, most of the time I get to be both since I only work for little bits of time! I am most certainly blessed and incredibly grateful!
Though I love acting and I can’t imagine my life without ACTING, I have never been more certain of anything, THAT I WAS BORN TO BE A MOTHER! I have never been so comfortable and so confident in this role. Not that I am a perfect Mom because I most certainly am not but it it is the first time that I don’t care what anyone else thinks, I just focus on my family and I trust my instincts, and I protect the only thing that matters to me, MY FAMILY. Ever since becoming a Mom, I have experienced a calmness that is so new to me, a sense of comfort and to be honest the first time that I have true and honest confidence. My husband has always made me feel beautiful but watching the way my children look at me give me the most amazing feeling of the truest beauty. I don’t need the glamour for them to think I am beautiful, I am beautiful because I am there MOM and they love me know matter what. And for that I am FOREVER grateful.

Love how positive you are! I have my first child and it is so hard to “not give a hoot what other people think” especially when they are family. I am thankful I have a loving, supportive husband who helps keep me balanced. So thank you for the post, I have to learn to 100% focus on my family and not the negativity 🙂 You are doing a beautiful job!

I just randomly stumbled on your blog today! Just love it! I grew up watching you on your show and knew we were similar ages so it was easy to connect with your character and the trials you face on the show. It’s so fun to see you in a different light and ‘in real life’ on your blog now. I am a food blogger, so it’s fun to see the similarities. I have a 3 year old and 7 year old and being a mom is def the best experience and most rewarding.

I love how relatable your blog is. I have 2 children myself (a 4 year old and 9 mounths old) and i too feel like I am truly confident about something for the first time in my life. I am made to be a mother. It’s such a natural thing to me (not saying i’m a perfect mom, nobody is!) it’s the thing that makes me feel the most like ‘me’.
I hope you keep writing posts like this 🙂 I love the honesty 🙂
