This past Wednesday, I got to do something super special. Michael and I packed up the kids and headed to Disneyland where we met up with my two best friends from Middle School. It was the first time that we have gotten all of our families together, and it was truly amazing. It’s crazy how much we have all grown up, the last time we were at Disneyland was for our grad night in 1999 and here we are in 2017 with husbands and 7 children among us (one didn’t make the trip and the other one is in the belly, 5 made the trip). To see our children play and enjoy this magical place was truly a gift. We came from New Jersey, San Jose, and of course for us we were from just a few hours away in LA. I am so grateful for these women who have been in my life for over 25 years and we still continue to be the best of friends, though there are many miles between us our friendship remains. It is the friendship that does not require work but yet we always know that we are there for each other. I am so grateful and excited to see our children grow up and become friends as well. What a gift to see our children enjoy the most magical place on earth!

Very fine post, Beverley. It’s great to have long-standing friends with whom we have shared good times, and with whom we continue writing pages of wonderful memories. With regard to Disneyland, what’s your favorite attraction ? I hope you will answer me. Have a nice day !
