Getting Smart

These days, it is amazing what your home can do. There are so many ways to make your home SMART! So this year I decided it was time to get with the trend and start making my house WORK. I mean, I work so why doesn’t my house work. So I started researching all the ways to make my house more efficient and green. I first started by getting the new NEST thermostats. These are amazing and can memorize your habit and most importantly conserve energy! I also love that you can control from your phone, so if you forget to turn on the air on those HOT SUMMER days, you can turn on the air before you get home. THAT IS AWESOME!

Then I found the RAIN MACHINE to help manage our sprinklers. Being that we live in California and have been dealing with one of the worst droughts in a long time, it is about time we upgrade to a system that will help conserve water and allow us to control from afar.

We also just got an amazing air purifier, I honestly didn’t know how much needed this until we plugged it in and let it do it’s thing. AIRMEGA is amazing, not only does it clean the air, it monitors the air quality and even can send you messages to your phone. It also keeps track for you and can turn on itself if it notices the air quality has dipped. I never knew how bad our air quality was until AIRMEGA started working, both my husband and I immediately got a burst of energy when we first used it, it was actually funny because we were trying to go to bed and we talked about it the next morning how all of a sudden we felt energized. It was pretty crazy! Now I want one in every room!
