Going Fishing…

On our most recent trip to Colorado we decided to take the kids fishing. I have to say this was pretty awesome, when I was Kenzie’s age and went fishing it was at this little place called Troutdale, it basically was a little pond and they starved the fish so you were always sure to walk away with a fish. I am pretty sure I used cheddar cheese for bait, but anyway, Kenzie is getting a chance to really learn how to fish, at a real lake with a real fishing pole (her Barbie fishing pole, don’t laugh, it’s awesome) with real bait. She actually used worms and I am proud to say that she helped reel in a fish. I love the opportunity we have to the kids out to somewhere so special and create the lifelong memories for them. Michael remembers growing up out here on this very lake, and now here we are with Kenzie and Hutton.  It is a pretty magical place and I can’t wait for all the adventures that we will have out here. I mean look at the scenery, it is just incredible!
