So for Kenzie’s first birthday, we had a pretty awesome birthday party. Though it was small and mostly family, I must say it was pretty darn special. We worked like crazy to put the whole backyard together and called in our dear friends Bill Horn and Scout Masterson to pull off an adorable Pink Lemonade theme birthday, complete with all my Etsy favorites. So that brings me to our little man, though I had plans to do something just as special, it unfortunately did not happen that way. Though we had an awesome day celebrating our little man as a family, I definitely had some guilt that he didn’t have a full on party.
I didn’t want him to fall into the “second child” scenario, (being an only child, I will tell you birthdays are a BIG DEAL). But being the Mom that I am, I definitely didn’t miss out on a photo shoot to at least document this big moment. So even though we did it a few weeks after his birthday, I at least got pictures to celebrate our favorite little guy.
I put up some adorable decorations from SWEET ORANGE FOX, his birthday board from PICKLE NOODLE DESIGNS, Wild One tee from THE BLUE ENVELOPE, cupcakes from our favorite cupcake spot, SUSIE CAKES, and got our incredibly talented friend ASHLEY BURNS PHOTOGRAPHY to take some family pics to forever remember our sweet boy HUTTON.
I do think that for Kenzie’s 3rd Birthday (March 28th, they are exactly 22 months apart) I will do a little something special for HUTTON too. So stay tuned!

Thank you so much for pointing out the mistake. I am certainly new to this and will admit that sometimes I am writing these post nearing midnight, so clearly my brain is starting to fail me and I am missing something. I will be sure to triple check before posting. I apologize for the frustration.
