Hutton is Three! I am beside myself! I honestly don’t know where the time has gone and honestly every morning I wonder where my baby went and when this little man took over his body. Hutton is truly coming into his own, he has his VERY strong opinions, his own sense of humor, and can be the sweetest boy around (he can also be NOT the sweetest boy around!). I am going to be honest having his birthday right after the craziness of Christmas as well as my own birthday is tough. I found myself scrambling to put together a last minute party because honestly I just dropped the ball. I felt terrible slacking on his party and DID EVERYTHING I could and called in a ton of favors to pull this off. I have to admit, I think we did it.

We had the party at the most adorable art studio called Merri Cherry. It was our first time there and it did not disappoint, (yes, I had never been there, I told you I was pulling off a small miracle with this party). Luckily for me it was perfect. They had sensory bins out, one with slime, one with shaving cream and babies, and a play doh station for the kids to play with. They also had a room with a large birthday cake for the kids to paint, they also had a large sign for the kids to paint as well. We also had superhero masks for each child to paint though to be honest they were having so much fun in the paint room painting not only the cake, the sign, the window and themselves that many didn’t complete the masks.
As for deserts I called in my good friend Mel at Polkatots to help me out. We got my favorite cupcake CAKE, a cake made up of individual cupcakes, so it requires no cutting and the kids go crazy for it. It also allows us to have multiple flavors so everyone is happy! She also made us some fabulous chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered rice crispy cakes. We also had two fabulous cakes that Hutton tried eating by himself, because why not!
It’s never a party without party favors. I am not going to lie, I love sending our guests home with something special and I am not going to lie, most of our friends always say they feel like it’s their child’s birthday when they go home. And that makes me so happy! So this party we sent our guest home with my favorites! I mean how cute are these. I mean, the personalized name crayons from Art 2 The Extreme are EVERYTHING! I am not going to lie, these make me so happy!
