I do read all of your comments and I noticed that yesterday a lot of you noticed that I have a little a bit of a belly, some even congratulated me on a third pregnancy, well I thought I should just clear something up. I AM NOT PREGNANT! I just still have a pouchy belly, to be honest I haven’t worked out in 4 years and unfortunately after Hutton my body did not bounce back like it did with Kenzie. But you know what, that is ok. I am completely fine with it. I accept that my body is not perfect, I accept this new body of mine and after having two children I am not so concerned with having a perfectly flat stomach like I once was. All I care about it being healthy and strong to take care of my family!
I am not upset by any of these comments by the way, I just wanted to clear the air. I wanted to show you that I am human, I have a belly, I love food, I love life! I embrace the woman I am today and I realize it is unreasonable for me to have expectations to be the size I was before kids, I mean that is a ton of work and though maybe someday that might happen, that is not my concern today. Today, I embrace my body and am grateful for all that is has given me, two beautiful and healthy babies! So yep, I have a belly and it’s all good!

Your attitude is refreshing! It’s nice to see someone in Hollywood with their priorities in order. P.S. You look great!

I can’t believe people would comment on that, I never even
noticed, you are beautiful no matter how you look! Look at
Kelly Clarkson, can’t take away her talent or personality.
You certainly didn’t have to explain. We love you Bev, jus
as you are!

Thank you so much, B Mitchell aka real woman! You are crazy accomplished and have two beautiful kids. Thank you for telling it like it is, you are beautiful! A little extra fluff means nothing but other priorities are now in play and are there any better priorities than our kids!

Lucy was always my favorite 7th Heaven character but through following you on social media, I’ve learned I respect Beverly more. Keep being you, you’re pretty awesome.

I am so glad you aren’t letting people’s comments bother you. You are beautiful and are setting a wonderful example.

I think that you look amazing! I had twins (14 years ago) and there were some complications from the delivery for me that prevent me from getting back my pre-baby tummy. I have learned to love my “pooch”, because without it I wouldn’t have my amazing kiddos! 💜

Good for you! More of us mammas need to be proud of our bodies, especially after growing humans inside. Having a child makes us who we are, and while I reminisce about the flat tummy I use to have, I would never trade my life with my baby. So while I wear a bikini sporting all my stretch marks and extra skin, I will continue to be proud of who I am and the child I am raising while others judge my “pooch”. Thanks Beverly for the extra confidence I e been lacking. #momlife

Oh my gosh!! Thank you for writing this!!! I have been so hard on myself lately because I just had our 4th, our rainbow baby and I haven’t lost any of the weight I gained. After we lost our 3rd baby I got super little from depression, and when I found out we were expecting again I was thrilled and did everything ‘by the book’ and only gained about 15lbs! Our little guy will be 8 months and I’m FINALLY starting to see that I’m
FINE with how I look, what everyone else thinks doesn’t matter!!! Love you and all your work! Such a great CHRISTIAN inspiration!!

I love you even more now!!! Thanks for being real.

First of all, I think you look awesome and never even noticed a “belly.” Second, I’ve always thought it was some “unwritten rule” that you just don’t assume out loud that someone is pregnant….so rude! I have 3 boys…ages 8, 6, and almost 3, and I also have diastasis recti (separated ab muscles.). I had my tubes tied after the youngest was born, so no more kids. About a year ago I was at the grocery store with my youngest, and a nosy lady walked up and asked my son if he was
going to have a baby brother or sister!!! I was mortified!!! Anyway, no real purpose to this post other than to let you know I can commiserate, and that you look awesome, and I’m happy you’re happy. 😊

I've noticed the hysteria media create over famous people not getting "thin" enough after they've had children. In my eyes you are perfect. And I love that you love your body just the way it is. You've had two gorgeous children. Your body has gone through an amazing journey.

I have watched Beverly Mitchell since I started watching 7th Heaven when I was going up and watching her character Lucy I found her to be a role model. Yes it has ended but I still watch it almost every time I get to watch tv not to mention I have the show on DVD all seasons I love the show. And now seeing her now as a mom of two and loving everything she does makes me like her even more. I also have her cd that she had for awhile and I love it to listen to when I get a chance. Thank you Beverly for being an amazing person and sharing it with us.

BEAUTIFUL post! The image we as women feel we need to live up to today is so unreasonable, even with a lot of work for some it’s impossible. THANK YOU for this post! Keeps you on the top of my “Hollywood” stars to admire list.
