I know it has been a while since I posted, and I intend to get better; however, I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the madness in the world. But I couldn’t miss the chance to share our sweet angel baby with you all. Mayzel Josephine was born July 2020, and she has truly been the brightest star in this very tough year of 2020. 
One of the greatest blessings of 2020 was our ability to slow down and be focused on the family. We spend every morning, noon, and night together, and the good news is we still LOVE each other. The kids could not love her more, they smother Mayzel with hugs and kisses, and every night it is a battle for them to wear matching PJs. 
Being an only child, it is absolutely crazy that we are now a family of 5! I still pinch myself; I mean, I have 3 kids, that is crazy. I absolutely love being a mom, and though it truly is the hardest job in the world, it really is the most rewarding.
We are so blessed by this little nugget, it wasn’t an easy road, but every heartache brought me you. Mayzel, we love you so very much and can’t wait to see what you bring to the world because you already brought us so much sunshine. You have given us the opportunity to focus this year on LIFE. You have reminded us to slow down and appreciate every giggle, every smile, every cry. For being so little you have already taught us all so much. I must say that our family is complete and we were just waiting for you Miss Mayzel. (Though Kenzie seems to think we should have 7 kids, not sure where she came up with that idea.)
