Mealtime is always an adventure. Not only do I have the fun task of trying to feed these little humans, I aim for healthy but bottom line is if they eat something I succeeded. Lately we have had to write down what I am feeding them for their swim lessons and I am embarrassed to admit that almost everything has cheese in the title. Except for breakfast, that is a WHOLE lot of berries, my kids love fruit, like crazytown. If only I could get the veggies in there. I am looking into new recipes to try to make more kid friendly meals that hide all that healthy goodness right inside.
In the meantime, Hutton has taken on a new hobby! Dumping anything and everything on his head. I am stoked that his new 4Moms highchair has a magnetic tray so he can’t actually dump his bowl on his head, but he is too smart for that and now he just grabs everything out of the bowl and mushes it on his head. I see this little guy is going to challenge me. Lucky for him, he is cute and I have a soft spot for those baby blues. It is just going to mean a lot more baths!
What’s your go to for healthy kids food? And any advice to keep him from putting his food on his head? He even smashed a bagel and rubbed it all over his hair. He definitely is my little messy monkey.
I do have to say I love these Kabrita pouches and so do both my kids. I love them for the ease and convenience though I do not love that Hutton has decided to paint his high chair with the yogurt recently. Oh well at least if he eats it. (I literally order these by the dozen from Amazon, which reminds me I need to order some! )

These are helpful if his problem is that he squeezes the pouches! I do a lot of pouches for my 12.5 month old because it’s the only way I can get her to eat veggies.. These help a lot. She can still swing it around or throw it and it comes out, but it prevents the squeezing related accidents! I’m also guilty of putting a very small amount of brown sugar on veggies to get her to eat them 😳

Hi Beverly,
Finally I take some time to write you. I am a mom of 2 great kids (Julia nearly 5 and David 1,5 years). Julia is a really picky eater – David just eats everything. I often prepare Spaghetti with tomato sauce. I take minced beef or soya and “hide” grated carrots and zucchini in it 😉 Both kids love it, and you just cook more and put it in the freezer. Have you tried potato wedges or sweet potato wedges made with herbs and a little bit of oil – prepared in the oven.
Do you have any recipes for me?
Best regards from Austria
