I have to say that Hutton is a TOTALLY different child than Kenzie, and yes I get that that is how is supposed to be, however I thought there would be some similarities. Basically they look alike and that’s it. Hutt is a a super independent, tough, stubborn, and strong little boy. He is everything that challenges me, you ask him if he loves Mama and he YELLS emphatically NO! By the way, it’s not like he doesn’t know what it means, because he is adamant that he loves his dogs, just not his Mama. I know he does, but man does he make me work for it. He loves to push me, and I cherish any cuddles I get because to be honest he has never been much of a cuddler, unlike Kenz who constantly wants love and cuddle and tells me how much she loves me. She is my sweet girl and this guy is my little tank. He loves to throw anything he can get his hands on, knock down anything and everything and loves to RUN everywhere oh and did I mention he has no volume control, this kid is LOUD! I am not sure what I was expecting when we learned we were having a boy but I can tell you this, Hutton keeps me guessing and every single day is a new adventure. I look forward to all the many grey hairs that this little man gives me and mini heart attacks since I am constantly fearing him cracking his head open since he has absolutely NO FEAR! So yeah, I am fully a mother to a BOY! Wish me luck!
XOXO Bev
PS I know he looks like a little girl, but I just can’t bring myself to cut it! And yep, I can put it in a ponytail, though he hates it and rips it out!

How adorable! Same thing happened to my Mom. My sister is 17 months older than me. I am the complete opposite of her. Good Luck! You are doing a wonderful job!

I’ve said this before on this site, but I really really hope in 15 years or so that IG or your website here is still up and running if only for the yearning to see pictures of your adorable kiddos all grown up- just judging by your and Michael’s appearances, your duo are going to be absolutely STUNNING adults. God Bless, Bev. xo

I can totally relate. After nearly 13 years later thinking our family was complete with our daughter, we were surprisingly blessed with the fiestiest little boy. Born 6 weeks early weighing only 2lbs. He is small but oh so mighty. He is the exact opposite in every way from his big sis. We live in his world and each day is a new adventure. We quickly realized our family was not complete without him.

Beverley, like stated above, I hope and pray that you continue to blog and stay real in this crazy world. Your stories are inspiring and greatly relatable and appreciated.
Thank you for being you.

My little one has long blonde hair as well. Everyone calls him a girl, to which he has finally started correcting them, at the age of three. It makes me sad that people think we should cut our little boy’s hair. Up until just over 100 years ago, all men had long hair! I want my son to know that he can have long hair, short, hair, red hair, blue hair….it’s not important. I love that you haven’t cut it 🙂

Hi Bev!
I know that feel strongly about your kids and giving back to communities and I was wondering if you knew of any organizations to help teachers? I am a new teacher in a high poverty school and am spending so much of my own paycheck buy supplies and books for my students! I was just wondering with all your connections if you knew anyone who could help? Thanks
