Growing up as an only child, I always wanted a sibling, until I didn’t. I never understood the bond between siblings, how could I, I didn’t have one. I always considered my friends to be my family and I still do, however, now having two children of my own and seeing the bond they share, it is a pretty magical thing.
I know it doesn’t look like it in this picture but the love these two share is pretty incredible. Kenzie loves her little brother so very much and loves to shower him with kisses and tackle him with hugs. I love to see them interact, though sometimes it involves rough housing, but for the most, they play and that’s pretty special. Hutt already looks up to his big sister and tries to mimic her as much as possible. It really is fun to watch them fall in love with each other in the most pure and innocent way, being able to watch them is one of my greatest joys and I know this will just continue as they grow older. I hope they always stay close and will be there for each other!

I didn’t realize you were an only child. I have always related most to your character Lucy, but now i know we even have more in common. I too am an only child and have always wished for a sibling. My friends were and still are family. They went on family vacations with us. My senior year a friend moved in and we invited a foreign exchange student into our home. It was then i realized it wasn’t all I thought it was. It was hard to share those big senior moments. I am now the mother of 3. The love they share is incredible, and the fights, oh boy.
