This past weekend we celebrated our sweet baby girl turning 6! Her actual birthday was March 28th when she was down with Influenza A, so it ended up being a blessing that her birthday party was planned to be much later and she had plenty of time to get healthy and made her party that much sweeter. Initially when I was thinking of what to do, I knew I wanted to do something a little different, Kenzie loves doing tea parties so the idea stuck. The first thing I did was book The Westlake Village ... View Post
Thankful, Grateful, Blessed
Every day I thank my lucky stars for this beautiful family of mine, they are everything and more than I could have ever dreamed of. From the moment I met Michael, I knew he was the one for me, that he was my person, and he was my one, and the only person I could ever imagine building my family with. Over the past 17 years, we have created the most beautiful life together. And today I celebrate my gratitude to Michael for being my rock, my best friend, my soul mate, my everything. A few ... Perspective…
I have been glued to the TV since Hurricane Harvey hit last week and my heart just breaks for all those affected. It truly has impacted me to my core and it brought me a new perspective this week. Today, I had an overwhelming amount of work to do, the housework had piled up since we had been out of town for a week and I had a lot to catch up on. Most of the time I would hustle through and get a little frustrated, but today, my whole attitude changed. Today, I found myself grateful to have a ... View Post
Keeping it real!
So it has been officially 3 weeks since we have been without our water heater, one of those weeks we were out of town but it has been 2 full weeks of cold showers. And tonight I boiled the water for the kids, but not going to lie, this truly has been a humbling experience. I will never take a warm shower for granted again! Also I have a new appreciation for house work being that I have to hand wash EVERYTHING! So though it has been a bit inconvenient, I love the reminder of how truly lucky we ... View Post
20 years ago today…
20 years ago today, the world met the Camdens and my life was changed forever. I was given a gift, it was more than a dream come true, it changed my life in the most magical way. I was given a second family, I was given a true love for a character that I had the pleasure of going through life with. I am and always will be honored to have been chosen to play Lucy Camden, it was my dream job on my dream show. To say I have been blessed is an understatement, I got to do what I love, playing a ... Born to be a Mom
I could not be more grateful that I have had to opportunity to be at home with my babies and rarely miss a moment in their lives. I still however, can not get over how fast they grow up, Kenzie is three and though Hutton is only 1 (1.5 to be exact) he has begun to say he is 2! Please don't grow up too fast my sweet babies. I feel like somehow I'm in a time warp and time is going by unusually fast. And as September fast approaches and I have to go back to work, I soak in every moment I have. It ... View Post
