I have been meaning to sit down and share Mayzel's birth story for months now. Not going to lie, it was a lot. With the first two kids, everything was pretty uneventful, we had scheduled C-Sections (Kenzie was Frank Breach and Hutton's head was too big) so we knew exactly what was up. And being that I had only had C-sections, that recovery was all I knew. Also being that they were less than two years apart it remembered it all. With Mayzel everything was different. I think having had a ... View Post
Our Baby Girl, Mayzel Josephine
I know it has been a while since I posted, and I intend to get better; however, I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the madness in the world. But I couldn't miss the chance to share our sweet angel baby with you all. Mayzel Josephine was born July 2020, and she has truly been the brightest star in this very tough year of 2020. One of the greatest blessings of 2020 was our ability to slow down and be focused on the family. We spend every morning, noon, and night together, and the good news ... View Post

Through this process, I have come to terms with it and have been ok; I talk about it often just because I don't want to hide the fact that it happened, I had a miscarriage. I am not looking for sympathy just the acknowledgment that it happened, because ... View Post
Saying goodbye is never easy
Yesterday, we said goodbye to our dearest Bentley. Though she had been having a tough few days, I still must say it was unexpected! I was not prepared because honestly, I had no control over. When both our other dogs passed, we put them down to end their suffering, but with Bentley she was different, she did it her way. You see, Bentley was the toughest and most stoic dog I have ever met! Two year ago she went from a perfectly healthy dog to not being able to walk, we found out she had bone ... View Post

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay. The opinions and text are all mine. When asked to try Olay's Cleansing Infusion Facial Cleanser with Deep Sea Kelp, I was excited. Having always been a fan of Olay, I was thrilled to try their newest soy-based facial cleanser. I am always so impressed by the science and cutting-edge technology that Olay is continually putting into their products and the new Cleansing Infusion Facial Cleanser with Deep Sea ... View Post
