Now that our littles are mobile and curious we have had quite the dilemna, how to to make our home safe and secure all doors and windows. We have never had an alarm system but now that our kids can open doors, it is a little scary. Our backyard is not exactly kid friendly and being sure that they never get out there on there own is something we take very seriously. SO we went on the hunt to find the best solution to keep them safe. After A LOT of research we finally found iSmart Alarm, a do it ... View Post
Hello there!
Hello there, my name is Bev but most people know me as Beverley Mitchell from the family television show 7th Heaven, I played the quirky middle daughter Lucy for all 11 seasons and 243 Episodes! I did a lot of other things but let’s be real, that is the big one. But now I have taken on my biggest role yet, MOM, to my two crazy kiddos. Wow, you know it is still sinking in, that I have two kids, sometimes it is hard to believe that I have one kid let alone two. Boy, life does change ... View Post
Retiring an Old Friend
So basically I have either been pregnant or breastfeeding since July 2012, so basically forever. But I have now entered an unfamiliar territory and I am not sure how I feel about it. I truly enjoyed breastfeeding and absolutely loved that special time with my babies, although towards the end with Hutton it got a little physical. He loved to push my face around while feeding, it was like trying to wrangle a monkey while latched on to my nipple. Good thing at this point nothing really hurts ... View Post
Back to Us
So I have to be honest Michael and I haven't been the best about date night. We very rarely if at all have gone out just the two of us. So when our amazing friend Ashley Burns asked if she could shoot us as a couple for one of her special shoots, we said yes and I am so glad I did. It was such a magical day just being the silly kids so much in love. It was nice to have him all to myself, to be honest, I think at times we forgot we were being photographed. We even snuck in dinner after, that is ... View Post
Adventures in Potty Training
So we have been a little slow on the potty training game, to be honest, no one really told us how hard it is. We tend to travel A LOT and that has made potty training even harder. It isn't that Kenzie can't do it, it is more that we haven't been committed. It really takes a whole lot of commitment and to be honest with the two kids we just struggled. But now we have finally buckled down and made it our mission and to be honest, she is doing great. We have had a few hiccups but after Michael's ... View Post
Three years= MONSTER
So I know everyone talks about terrible twos but honestly two was a breeze, but THREE! I mean, I was not prepared for this. Literally on Kenzie's 3rd Birthday everything changed. She started climbing out of her crib, yes she is still in her crib, by her own request. Girl loves her crib, but now every morning at 7:45am she climbs out of her crib and comes into our room and asks to watch Daniel Tiger. So that is the start of our day. Yes, I know she looks like an angel, but trust me, she ... View Post
