Being an actress, I have made my living since as far as I can remember playing make believe. I have always been able to connect to many different characters and pretend to be someone I am not and thankfully make a living doing so. I love to play pretend, it is so much a part of who I am and I must say I love seeing our children do the same. It makes them so happy to play pretend and to see their creativity makes my heart soar.
Originally I was not the biggest fan of costumes, I didn’t want Kenzie to become so set in her ways that she would only wear princess costumes, that is until she got one. To see her joy and see her creativity blossom makes my heart happy. This little lady comes into our bedroom every morning dressed in a new costume and tells me what she is today and our newest adventure that we will be on. Hutt recently has taken interest in the adventure play and with his newest duds he is loving being Kenzie’s super hero! They couldn’t be any cuter.
I love supporting and nurturing their little minds to play and to create. We are doing our best to make sure that they continue to play as children and enjoy all of these special moments. I continue to take that as my duty to protect their innocence and allow them the freedom to play! To play make believe! To be absolutely anything they can dream of.
